      Introductory Note for HP OpenVMS Version 8.4 Enablement Kit for
      HP Integrity server blades

      Hewlett-Packard is pleased to announce the OpenVMS Version 8.4
      Enablement Kit for HP Integrity server blades (BL8x0c i2 server
      blades).

      OpenVMS Version 8.4 Enablement Kit

      OpenVMS Version 8.4 Enablement Kit provides support for the HP
      Integrity server blades (BL8x0c i2 server blades). In addition,
      this kit contains fixes to reported issues and problems. For
      more information, see the Enablement Kit release notes.

      Documentation

      For access to all the OpenVMS Version 8.4 manuals and associ-
      ated product manuals in support of the Operating Environment

      Product Licensing

      OpenVMS Version 8.4 on the HP Integrity server blades will
      be licensed on a per socket basis. Trade-in programs have

      HP Services Tools

      The Services Tools and associated web pages may contain new
      diagnosis software that is applicable to the system and should
      be reviewed for the most recent updates to the diagnosis tools.

      The Services Tools for OpenVMS on Integrity Servers distribution
      contains analysis, diagnosis and remote support software, for
      example WEBES and ISEE, for use by HPs service engineers and HPs
      Authorized Service Provider service engineers.
